Our college held 44^th Convocation for all under-graduate and Post Graduate programmes. About 360 students of M.Com, MBEIT, M.Sc. (Comp Sci) and M.Sc. (I.T.), M.Sc. FD, B.A. B.Com, B.Sc(Economics), Computer Science, BCA, BBF, PGDCA, P.G. Diploma in Garment Construction and Fashion Designing, P.G. Diploma in Cosmetology were awarded degrees. Prof. Nishtha Jaswal, Vice Chancellor, Himachal Pradesh Law University, Shimla was the Chief Guest and Dr. Paramjit Singh Jaswal was the Guest of Honour on the glorious day. Our guests received a floral welcome in the hands of President of the Managing Committee, Pusushottam Lal Budhia Ji, Joint Secretary, Vinod Dada Ji, Reverent – Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Kiran Arora, Incharge Convocation Mrs. Suman Sirpal, College Head Girl Muskan Sharma and the Youth Club President Kamalpreet Kaur. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Shri Satish Dada Ji and Shri D.K. Joshi Ji, Members of the Managing Committee also witnessed the occasion. Dr. Pramode Chand Markanda initiated ‘Satya Prem’ pure gold medals for meritorious students of the college to memorialize his parents. This year these awards were bestowed upon Mandeep, Prabhjeet, Simranjit  and Himanshi. Our Chief Guest addressed the students stating that the true purpose of education can fairly be justified, if it would be reflected in our personality where in we live our lives vested in moral values like kindness, forgiveness and a belief in the notion ‘The World is one Family’. One’s soul should be devoid of anger, envy and other ill wills and strive to be a better human being. Labour a constructive use of time channelizing the experiences of the elders are some of the keys to enhance one’s personality.
