Procedure and policies for maintaining and utilizing physical, academic and support facilities-  laboratory, library, sports complex, computers, classrooms etc.

The policy of the college is to ensure the availability of latest equipments and up-to-date infrastructure in the campus. Suitable budget is allocated every year for the maintenance of various facilities. Regular meetings of various committees are held to monitor the optimum use of infrastructure which is accessible to the students and staff of the college. Infrastructural requirements of the departments are submitted to Purchase Committee and Maintenance Committee in the form of proposal; which is later on approved by the Principal, and Management of the college.

 IT infrastructure is augmented regularly to promote the use of technology. The college believes in marching forward with use of ICT. 251 computers with internet facility are available in the college campus. Latest softwares, 5 Smart Class rooms with interactive boards, interactive panels, visualizers, projectors, Mimeopads Stylus and Mimeo Pad Pen are being used effectively in the campus. Augmentation and upgradation of the existing infrastructure is an ongoing activity. The maintenance of the infrastructure is done with the active participation of the teaching and non-teaching staff. Many committees have been constituted for this purpose. All the departments are required to maintain its Stock Register. Annual stock checking is conducted at the departmental level.  The college has Lab Assistants and Lab Attendants to ensure proper upkeep of the various labs including computer center. They provide regular support services relating to computer hardware and software. They also ensure the allotment of Wi-Fi passwords to the faculty members. They are also undertaking the task of repairing sensitive gadgets and equipments. Sometimes the maintenance work is outsourced to appropriate outside agencies as well.

The college has separate libraries for Main Block and IT Block. The library remains open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on working days. There is a browsing centre in the library for students as well as teachers. Library Heads regularly inspect the condition of the library stock. The requirement and list of books is taken from the concerned departments and HOD’s are involved in the process. The finalized list of required books is duly approved and signed by the Principal. To ensure return of books, ‘no dues’ from the library is mandatory for students before appearing in exams.

There are well marked and self contained spaces for NSS, NCC, Youth Club and Central Association. For Health and Hygiene, there is a provision of medical room, safe drinking water and neat washrooms. Regular cleaning of water tanks, proper garbage disposal and pest control is done by the Institute. College campus maintenance is monitored through regular inspection.  Maintenance of the water coolers and water purifiers is done regularly. There is also the facility of a gymnasium, a health centre, multipurpose yoga hall, a centre for indoor games and Brahmkund playground for outdoor games. The T.V. & Video Production Lab of the college has engaged the students in recording and editing of videos. This has enabled the students to use multimedia effectively like recording and editing videos. The sports department of the college continuously encourages the students to participate in games.

The college has Grievance Redressal Cell, Placement & Personality Development Cell, Canteen, CCTV Cameras, Fire Extinguishers, Basement for parking of two wheelers and Book shop, Electricity Panel and Generators. Residential Quarters are also provided to class IV employees.
