Constitution Day 26 Nov, 2018 celebrated in the PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar. Prof Tripta Handa, HOD Dept of Political Science spoke to the students about the significance of the constitution and about the role, and contribution of Baba Sahib Ambedkar who is known as the father of the constitution. She threw light on the Preamble, where it is mentioned that we have adopted this constitution on 26 Nov, 1949. An essay writing competition was organized on the occasion. Students of 3^rd sem also displayed important information  relevant to the constitution on the main notice board of the college. More than 50 students fro various classes participated. Prof Geeta Kahol a senior faculty efficiently organized the entire activity.
