A Seminar was organized in PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar. Sh. Shiv Kumar Sonik, a renowned advocate from Punjab and Haryana High Court was the Chief Spokesperson. He delivered a comprehensive lecture on Domestic violence and violation of Women’s Human Rights. He also highlighted the (Article 32 reads Constitutional Remedies) mentioned in chapter 3^rd of fundamental rights through which ‘writs’ can be issued by the High Courts to save our human rights. Mrs. Bhavana Pushkar Sandal, General Secretary of International Human Rights organization women wing, Punjab gave awareness to young girls about their “Human Rights at Work Place” and at home after marriage. Madam Tajinder Kaur Thind, District Incharge (Punjabi Jagran Editorial, shared her valuable thoughts too. Seminar Incharge, Mrs. Tripta Handa, Associate Prof, Head of Department, Political Science delivered the introductory note and mentioned the purpose of the seminar. She informed that a declaration was made by UN’s General Assembly in 1948 on 10^th Dec. Madam  Principal, Dr. Kiran Arora presented mementos to the guests and extended a vote of thanks. Students participated enthusiastically.
