Students of the Department of Economics participated in a ‘Cancer Walk-A-Thon’ on 10^th February 2019 at Ludhiana. This was an initiative by 98.3 FM Radio Mirchi in joint collaboration with Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana and American Oncology Institute A Precision Cancer Care held at MBD Neopolis Mall and Multiplex at Ludhiana under the noble cause ‘Cancer ko karo cancel’. The students visited Prabhakar’s Wax Museum, an exemplary museum featuring wax replicas of culturally, politically and socially renowned figures plus ingenious artworks. The students also visited ‘Gurudwara Dukh Nivaran. The trip was fruitful in bringing forth an awareness of the fatal disease.
