It is a matter of immense pride that the Principal of our college has presented a research paper entitled ‘Artificial Intelligence : A Serious Concern in Literature in the Two Day International Conference  on the topic ‘ Interdisciplinary Research Innovations in Science and Humanities (IC-IRISH’18) at Bali, Indonesia, invited by the Department of Computers at Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore. Through her paper, she threw considerable light on Artificial skill and Intelligence and the dangers they pose. Technology indeed is a boon to mankind, however burgeoning dependency on it might increasingly enchain us to the same. Interestingly, this danger was envisioned even before the 1950’s by scores of literary figures which were reflected in their works. Considering the present scenario, their prophecy seems to have been materialized.
